Privacy Policy
Last updated: see the date at the bottom of this page.
Dappella lets you see clothes from online stores on your own body. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, the account identifier they give us. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.
- Your body photo (avatar): the full-body photo you take or upload so we can create try-ons.
- Garment images and links: photos you upload, and product links or images you choose in the in-app browser or share with the app.
- Try-on results: the images our AI creates for you.
- Purchases: which credit pack or subscription you bought and your credit balance. Payments are processed by Google Play or the App Store; we never see your card details.
- Support messages: anything you send us through the Contact form.
How we use it
- To create your try-ons and show your history (Wardrobe).
- To manage your account, credits and purchases.
- To answer support requests.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your data and we do not use your photos for advertising.
AI processing
To create a try-on, your body photo and the garment image are sent to our AI provider (currently Replicate, running Google's image models) solely to generate the result. They are processed on our behalf and are not published.
Storage and retention
Photos are stored in private cloud storage and are only reachable through short-lived links. We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete a try-on it is removed; when you delete your account, your photos, try-ons and account details are permanently deleted.
Your choices
- Delete any try-on from your Wardrobe.
- Replace your body photo at any time in Profile.
- Delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or on our account deletion page.
- Contact us about access to or correction of your data via the Contact page.
Children
Dappella is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
